As the NFL offseason winds down, we are eagerly anticipating the start of the 2024 regular season. In just 67 days, the Arizona Cardinals will kick off their season against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Week 1.
The current No. 67 on the Cardinals’ roster is Austen Pleasants, an offensive lineman with limited NFL experience. Despite only playing in two career games and taking just 10 offensive snaps, Pleasants is determined to earn a spot on the team through hard work and dedication. While he has a chance, he has not yet made a significant impact for the Cardinals.
The last player to wear the No. 67 for the Cardinals was Justin Pugh, an offensive lineman who played for the team from 2018-2022. Pugh was known for his versatility and skill on the offensive line, starting at right guard before moving to left guard where he excelled as one of the team’s most reliable and consistent linemen. He even filled in at right tackle when needed and started a total of 56 games during his time in Arizona.
After his time with the Cardinals, Pugh joined the New York Giants for 12 games last season where he showed once again his versatility and skill on the offensive line. Originally drafted by the Giants in the first round in 2013, Pugh’s career spanned over a decade and proved that with hard work and dedication, anyone can make it in this league.
