Reflecting on his time as President, Dr. Carrington thanked the staff, partners, and supporters who have helped the organization succeed. He has overseen significant growth and development at the Danforth Center during his time as President. This includes doubling the staff, expanding scientific research initiatives, establishing new facilities such as the William H. Danforth building and the Field Research Site. He has also prioritized moving research outcomes into the marketplace through spin-out company formation and the development of the 39North innovation district.
