End of Support for Astro for Business: Amazon Offers Refunds and Credit towards Home Robot Solutions

Dear valued Amazon customer,

At Amazon, we are always looking for ways to improve and provide the best possible service to our customers. While we are proud of the Astro for Business product that we have developed, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue support for it in order to focus on making Astro the best robot for the home.

In the coming weeks, Amazon will be providing full refunds for all purchases of the Astro for Business device. The funds will be returned to your original payment method. If your original payment method is no longer valid or on file, a credit equal to the purchase amount will be issued to your Amazon account. No further action is required from you to receive the refund.

As a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer our valued customers a $300 credit towards finding a replacement solution for their workplace needs. Additionally, an automatic invitation to the Astro Day 1 Editions Program will be extended to those interested in continuing their journey with Astro at home.

Please note that starting on 9/25, your Astro for Business device will no longer function and any personal data stored on it will be deleted. However, patrol or investigation videos recorded by Astro will still be accessible through the Ring app until the video storage period expires or your Ring Protect subscription ends. We encourage our customers to recycle their devices and accessories through the Amazon Recycling Program which covers all associated shipping and recycling costs. For customers who have subscribed to Astro Secure, this service will also be discontinued on 9/25 and any remaining subscription benefits will automatically terminate. Refunds for any unused pre-paid subscription fees will be issued back into your original payment method linked with your Ring account.
