Angel Reese, a former LSU women’s basketball star, has quickly gained recognition in the WNBA after joining the league. Recently named to the All-Star team alongside rookie standout Caitlin Clark, Reese has been on fire, setting a new WNBA record for consecutive double-doubles with 11 games and counting.
Impressively, Reese was also awarded WNBA Rookie of the Month honors for her outstanding performance. She is currently averaging a double-double for the season, with impressive stats like 14.5 points, 13.2 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game in the month of June.
Reese leads the WNBA with 12 double-doubles and is on track to set a new single-season record with 22 games remaining in the season. She is determined to keep up her dominant play as she competes against Clark for Rookie of the Year honors, with Clark currently favored to win.
