Verona banks on big returns from Tchatchoua sale to Everton

Cameroonian international Jackson Tchatchoua is expected to bring a significant profit to Hellas Verona, as they plan to sell him to Everton for approximately €8m. Tchatchoua joined Verona on loan from Royal Charleroi Sporting Club last summer and the club exercised their option to buy him for €3m.

Director of sport Sean Sogliano has been instrumental in revitalizing Verona’s finances through a series of lucrative deals, and this potential sale could be another success for him. Tchatchoua, who will turn 23 in September, is versatile and can also play in a more advanced position or on the left flank. He has two senior caps for Cameroon and impressed in his 27 appearances for Verona last season in Serie A and the Coppa Italia, providing two assists for the team.
