In a recent bowl projections report by CBS Sports’ Brad Crawford, Michigan State has been left out of a bowl game this holiday season. This news is disappointing to fans of the team, as they have not played in a bowl game since their Peach Bowl victory over Pitt in 2021.
Despite missing out on bowl games for the past two years, Michigan State will still be following the action from the sidelines as Indiana represents the Big Ten in the Detroit Bowl. Crawford’s projections placed Indiana as the lowest-rated Big Ten team and selected them for the Detroit Bowl.
