I wanted to determine which method was the best way to cook frozen potstickers, so I conducted an experiment using my oven, microwave, and stovetop. My conclusion was that if I needed to prepare a large batch of potstickers, the oven would be the most practical choice. However, nothing could compare to the delicious, hot and crispy potstickers that were pan-fried.
The global frozen-food industry was valued at nearly $3 billion in 2023. As a family, we have certainly contributed to this figure with our love for frozen appetizers, meals, and sides. One of our favorites is potstickers. This inspired me to conduct a hands-on test to see which cooking method yielded the best results when cooking frozen potstickers: my oven, microwave or stovetop.
