The latest innovation from Solos is their AirGo Vision smart glasses, which feature GPT-4o and generative artificial intelligence (AI) capable of analyzing visual input. These smart glasses provide real-time information based on what the wearer sees, including recognizing people, objects, landmarks, and even providing walking directions. With the ability to capture photos hands-free and ask for information, AirGo Vision users can easily search for a recipe step or inquire about the cost of an item. The glasses can even suggest better prices elsewhere.
One unique feature of the AirGo Vision glasses is swappable frames that allow users to choose between having a front camera or not. Additionally, a built-in LED notification light discreetly alerts the wearer to new notifications. Visual alerts are particularly useful in noisy environments or for users who are hard of hearing.
While this is not Solos’ first venture into AI-powered smart glasses, the AirGo Vision glasses enable users to search for information using visual input. Previously, they unveiled the Solos AirGo3 smart glasses with ChatGPT at CES 2024 which focused on audio interactions. The AirGo Vision is expected to be released later this year with three styles of LED-only frames coming out in July at an MSRP of $249.99.
