Thief caught stealing American Flag from Downtown Colorado Springs business twice

Justin Hermes, the owner of The Property Group in downtown Colorado Springs, has expressed his disappointment after a man stole the American flag hanging outside their business for the second time in a week. Security camera footage captured the man taking the flag last Sunday at noon, in broad daylight. Despite being somewhat amused by the situation, Hermes is concerned that the thief might be reselling the flag.

However, the flag holds sentimental value to Hermes as it is flown in remembrance of his grandfather who fought in World War II. The act of stealing the flag has deeply hurt Hermes and his family as it represents their family’s legacy and service to the country. Despite this, Hermes has decided not to file a police report but hopes the thief will stop. He has ordered extra flags to replace the stolen ones in the meantime.
